Three HMO plans to choose from: Select HMO, HMO Saver and the Individual HMO. Taking care of your health with an Anthem HMO plan gives you comprehensive health care coverage that includes physical exams by your primary care physician, and routine cancer screenings such as mammograms, pap smears and testing for prostate cancer.

Well Woman Preventive Care: (Self referral for OB/GYN care)for well woman exams such as pap smears and mammography, all women enrolled in an Anthem HMO plan have the option to use their Primary Care Physician, or the option to select an obstetrician and or gynecologist (OB/GYN) directly from a participating specialist without referral from their Primary Care Physician. Self referral for OB/GYN is not only for well woman exams. It extends to other health care services offered by obstetricians and gynecologists including pregnancy, birth control and other women health concerns such as menopause.
