Medicare Part D Rx plans – You will also need to enroll in a separate Medicare part D Rx plan, which will help you pay for your prescription costs. A good place to start you search is right here. Simply email a list of your current medications along with the dosage and frequency. I’ll enter the information into the Medicare system, to come up with the top 3 plans for your prescription list. The results will show the best three plans for coverage and cost for your medications. I will then email the results to you. Here is a good place to start.
You are eligible for enrollment in one of Health Net’s Medicare Supplement plans if you are 65 or older, or under 65 and entitled to Medicare because you are on Social Security disability and enrolled in Medicare Parts A and B and you reside in the State of California.
There are also other guaranteed issue guidelines such as a person new to Medicare Part B or if you currently have a Medicare Supplement and live in California during the month of your Birthday (Birthday Rule – California & Oregon only). Read more about that here. Or if you are on a Medicare Advantage plan for under 12 months and wish to move to a Medicare Supplement.
