Anthem Plans G, F & N
Anthem offers all three Plans; G, F and N in San Jose and Santa Clara County. Currently only Plan F is the Innovative plan, although in other Anthem States, the Innovative plans include; F, G and N.
So I would not be surprised if all three are offered as Innovative very soon.
A couple things to remember about Plan N. You have an annual “outpatient” deductible of $185, after you will have a $20 copay whenever you see a doctor, specialist or lab. Hospital is still covered at 100% except if you are hospitalized as observation status instead of for admitted. Observation status is considered “outpatient” which would fall under Medicare part B.
You can transfer to one of these Anthem Medicare Supplement plans at anytime of the year. Simply compete the Anthem application, and send it to me for processing.
Please feel free to call or email anytime with questions. I can also help you transfer to one of the new Medigap plans.
